Oriential Techniques
Oriental Massage
Oriental Massage encompasses a variety of traditional techniques rooted in Eastern healing practices, including Thai massage and Tuina. Thai massage, also known as Thai yoga massage, combines acupressure, stretching, and yoga-like movements to promote relaxation and balance in the body's energy pathways, known as "sen." Practitioners use their hands, thumbs, elbows, and feet to apply pressure and stretch muscles, aiming to release tension, improve flexibility, and restore vitality.
Tuina, a Chinese massage therapy, focuses on the body's meridian system and acupressure points to alleviate pain and promote healing. Tuina involves various manipulative techniques such as kneading, rolling, and pushing to regulate qi (energy) flow and correct imbalances in the body. Both Thai massage and Tuina offer holistic approaches to wellness, addressing physical discomfort and enhancing overall well-being through the harmonization of body, mind, and spirit.
